The Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is developed in partnership with INEAS — The National Authority for Assessment and Accreditation in Healthcare — a public, independent, nonprofit institution operating under the auspices of the Tunisian Ministry of Health.
INEAS is mandated to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of health care through accreditation, clinical guideline development, and the promotion of evidence-based decision-making.
The CME program is designed in accordance with internationally recognized standards for continuing professional development. Educational content is grounded in rigorous scientific methodologies, including systematic reviews, clinical evaluation, and health economic analysis. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) to support evidence-based clinical and policy decisions.
By the end of TCT Plus Africa 2027, attendees should be able to:
- Demonstrate a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in interventional cardiovascular medicine, including emerging techniques, devices, and therapeutic strategies.
- Integrate evidence-based innovations into clinical practice to improve outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.
- Critically appraise and apply scientific evidence presented during the conference to optimize management strategies for complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration by engaging with healthcare professionals across various specialties to enhance patient-centered care.
- Evaluate and utilize emerging technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning, and post-procedural care.
TCT Plus Africa 2027 aims to provide a high-level scientific and educational platform dedicated to advancing cardiovascular medicine across the region and beyond. The conference is designed to showcase the latest innovations in the management of coronary, structural heart, and vascular diseases, with a strong focus on translating scientific advances into clinical practice.
The program will critically appraise emerging technologies, techniques, and treatment strategies, while emphasizing the importance of the heart team approach in optimizing patient selection and clinical decision-making. It will also provide simulation-based training in structural, coronary, and cardiovascular imaging fields to support hands-on learning and skill development.
In addition, the conference seeks to identify key gaps in cardiovascular care across different health care settings and to develop actionable, context-specific solutions. It will serve as a dynamic platform for regional and international experts to share research, clinical experience, and innovation, fostering collaboration and advancing cardiovascular care.
